We are the Round Barn Visitor Center, located just North of the Steens Mountain wilderness in central Harney County. The Peter French Round Barn is just past the Visitor Center.

When you come visit, you will be welcomed by friendly people, clean restrooms, snacks, refreshments and complimentary coffee.

Not only do we offer local directions and  history (Including a family museum), we have many maps available and local information.

​

​

There is a gift store with outerwear, concealed carry items, jewelry, and a large selection of books.  We also carry local artisans' work, paintings, books and cards.
